DOCUMENTARY - Focusing on the role of the opposition in Quebec society, Les chialeux documents the daily lives of MPs at the heart of the action in the National Assembly. Collecting the testimony of numerous experts and specialists, the film deconstructs the idea that the role of the opposition parties is limited to whining. Using archive images and an aesthetic inspired by retro video games, the film instead exposes the importance of this key role in here democracy through a fun and original framework.
